Zack Snyder presented the world with the first part of Rebel Moon in December 2023. The film didn’t earn much critical appreciation and has a mere 22 percent on Rotten Tomatoes. The second part was released earlier this year, and it is safe to say that it did not do any better than the first one. If anything, it was worse.
Considering Snyder’s winning streak over the years, fans had obviously expected better, which he failed to deliver. However, it is not over till it’s over and the director’s cut of Rebel Moon might just prove that the director has not lost his touch.

In the trailer, he might finally be able to change fans’ opinions regarding his most hated series, just like he did with Justice League in 2021.
