“I’m frustrated and upset”: After Love is Blind Heartbreak With Ramses, Marissa Has Been Hit With Another Setback That Could Derail Her Career

The reality show promotes an experiment where single men and women look for love, get engaged but before meeting. The unique concept of dating has garnered a large viewership, with the response being positive.

The couples are paired based on their personalities and their values, and the process has been described as ‘intense’. One such couple that has been under the spotlight since season 7 aired is Ramses Prashad and Marissa George. According to the executive producer, Ally Simpson, the two of them took the experiment very seriously. But their fairytale has come to an end as the two of them have gone their separate ways. However, relationships are not the only problem in Marissa’s life right now.

The audience loves a good reality show, and Love Is Blind is one of the reality shows that has garnered the attention of the audience worldwide. Viewers are invested in the relationships of the people who are on the show, which is why season 7’s contestant Ramses Prashad’s actions are criticized online. The show is presented by Nick and Vanessa Lachey.

While the executive producer believes Ramses Prashad and Marissa George took the experiment very seriously, viewers can see how messy their relationship had been. There was physical attraction, and the duo seemed spiritual and progressive moving through life. But Ramses hadn’t been kind to Marissa’s experience of being in military service, suggested she go off birth control and have intercourse without c**doms, just didn’t sit right with the viewers.

But, right before they were supposed to get married, they had a conversation where Ramses shared with Marissa that he could no longer go ahead with the wedding. Upon asking a lot of times the reason behind the breakup, Ramses noted that it was her energy. He told Marissa (via Elle)

This connection is amazing, but there are certain things that you can’t get around. Especially when it comes to living together and spending the day to-day together, that’s crazy important. It was great and fine in Cabo, but here every day when you bring in work and day-to-day stresses, there’s so much going on. I didn’t feel like I had a moment to myself.

According to Marissa, it’s the worst breakup she has experienced. In a conversation with Cosmopolitan, she defended her ex by revealing that they met a couple of times after they broke up, but nothing came out of it. She said,

It took me probably six months to get back on track and to really start to move on. He’s not this horrible, evil person who was trying to oppress me. He just really wasn’t. And me and I now do communicate and have a fairly decent. I wouldn’t call it friendship, but we can have a conversation.

George shared that Prashad is not the horrible person that everyone thinks he is, but added that he needs a lot of stuff to work on. She mentioned that until he goes to therapy, Ramses will continue to struggle with who he is as a person. But in her interview with Glamour, the star noted that to this day she does not know if Ramses had a good enough reason to break things off or not.

Marissa George faces another setback in her life

Love Is Blind star Marissa George served 7 years in the U.S. Navy as a Naval Surface Warfare Officer. But now she is a lawyer at Jackson Lewis P.C. in Baltimore, Maryland. According to Betches, the reality TV star is passionate about politics and wants to be with someone who shares the same ideology.

In her conversation with Today, she said

We’re making laws that really impact people’s lives. It’s really important to me to be with somebody who wants to raise kids with an open mind and who takes a part in their society and in their country.

However, in her recent social media post, the reality TV star has opened up about one major setback that she has now faced in terms of her career. She shared a video of her opening the result of her ‘Bar Exam’. She failed it by one point and wrote in the caption,

I take it all back. This is actually the worst day of my life. Posting this for anyone else who just found out they didn’t pass the bar—you’re not alone. My worth has never been and will never be defined by an exam, but I won’t lie—failing by 1-point hurts. I am frustrated and upset but after everything I’ve faced past this year, I know I’ll make it through.

Marissa George congratulated the ones who passed. A lot of people were quick to send her positive and supportive messages. The reality TV star and her relationship with Ramses Prashad has drawn a lot of attention from the viewers with George being fans’ favorite.
