“I’m not saying there are aliens, but …”: Elon Musk, Who Pioneered Space Travel With SpaceX, Makes Cryptic Tweet
Elon Musk or his company was not even the owner of the @X account when he announced that Twitter would go forward under the name X. For those unaware, until Tuesday evening, that username belonged to Gene Hwang, a San Francisco photographer who held it since 2007. When Elon Musk bought Twitter late last year, he devised a vision for an “everything” app called X, where users could communicate, shop, consume entertainment, and more.
Elon Musk Makes Another Cryptic Tweet About Aliens
Elon Musk and controversies go hand in hand. Similar is the case with his tweets which makes the Twitterati go crazy. Musk’s relationship with alien remarks isn’t a new thing for Twitter users, and one of his latest tweets was on the same topic. The cryptic tweet with no end reads, “I’m not saying there are aliens, but …” Musk has left the users in a dilemma as to what to infer from his mysterious half-completed tweet.
In February 2023, Musk asked the United States and Canada not to worry as the recent sightings of unidentified objects in the sky are just his alien friends stopping by. In another tweet, Musk expressed how he hopes that one day we all will be aliens and will visit other worlds. Similarly, in July 2020, Musk made another bizarre tweet saying that the pyramids in Egypt were built by aliens.
Elon Musk Rebrands Twitter As X and Replaces The Iconic Bird Logo
Twitter head Elon Musk officially changed the company’s famous bird logo to an X on Monday as part of the rebranding process. Musk, who acquired the platform for $44 billion late last year, wrote in a post on Sunday, “If a good enough X logo is posted tonight, we’ll make go live worldwide tomorrow.” The next thing that happened was the domain X.com directing users to Twitter’s homepage, though Twitter.com also remains live.
The X started appearing at the top of the desktop version of Twitter on Monday, but the bird was still dominant across the smartphone app. Twitter CEO Linda Yaccarino wrote in a post on Sunday that X will be “centered in audio, video, messaging, payments/banking.” She added that the platform will also be powered by artificial intelligence.
