Zendaya might be taking her career in Hollywood one step forward soon. Academy Award-winning cinematographer Greig Fraser thinks very highly of the actress considering her strong interests in cinematography.

In a recent interview, Fraser honestly appreciated the efforts of the Dune: Part Two actor. He admitted that he is impressed with how the Challengers actress perceives cinematography with all her heart. Apparently, apart from being an exceptional actor, she is planning to dive deeper into the industry.

Australian cinematographer Greig Fraser had an interview with Collider’s Perri Nemiroff. In the interview, Fraser and Nemiroff discussed several topics, including those related to the Dune: Part Two actor actress.

The interviewer asked Fraser how he sees Zendaya’s fascination with cinematography, to which he responded positively.

“I mean she is incredibly clever and she will be producing and directing her own films soon enough, I am positive about that.”

Fraser mentioned that Zendaya has an excellent understanding of images and it is nice to interact with such people while on the set. He agreed that she is super smart and very keen to learn about such things.

In an interview with Essence, the Euphoria actress expressed her interest in cinematography, saying:

“I love being able to create what I want to see made. I’m also really interested in cinematography. Maybe I’ll become a director, or a director of photography. I am just really taking in all that knowledge and learning as much as I can. I really love the art of actually making film.”

Fraser’s prediction does not seem to be too far from the truth and what might actually end up happening. This would give the actress’ career a new direction. 

Greig Fraser and Denis Villeneuve’s Collaboration on Dune: Part Two Proved to be Successful

Winner of five BAFTA Awards and three Academy Awards, Canadian filmmaker Denis Villeneuve collaborated with cinematographer Greig Fraser to bring the sequel of Dune to the big screen.

The movie has gained a lot of positive responses from the audiences as well as from the critics. Fraser, in the interview with Nemiroff, gives major credit to director Villeneuve and his efforts behind the movie’s success. Fraser also mentioned that he too worked really hard to design the movie as well as possible.

Fraser mentioned in the interview that he is really proud of how Villeneuve has been working hard on the adaptation of Frank Herbert’s novel since 2018 or 2019. The cinematographer believes that the sequel’s success largely depended on his and Villeneuve’s partnership 

The Rogue One cinematographer is at peace that all the hard work behind the movie ultimately brought good results. Fraser also mentioned that the Sicario director made the film exactly how he dreamt about as a child.
