Recently a case of bullying came forward in Arvin High School, California. A video went viral on social media in which a special needs child gets bullied by other children. In the video, the child gets his hair shaved by some kids who are yet to be identified. The video has left the internet outraged as several kids are spotted recording the incident rather than helping out the child. The authorities have claimed that they will take the necessary action against the children.
Josh Gad spoke against bullying
Actor Josh Gad, who is known for voicing Olaf in the Frozen franchise, retweeted the video and wrote, “I am so disgusted by this. Every single child who took part in this should be suspended or expelled. Also, Javier, you got a friend here. In fact, you have many friends. Bullies won’t win. Love you kid!” The actor wrote a cheerful message for the child and demanded that every child who was involved in this incident must be expelled.
Other celebrities also came forward
After the video went viral, a lot of celebrities came forward to stand against bullying. Dallas Cowboys star Micah Parsons posted a tweet asking for someone to put him in contact with the family of the child so he can help them out. The school authorities have claimed that “the school has taken and will continue to take action” but due to the age of those involved the “disciplinary actions will remain confidential.” A small protest also took place outside Arvin High School demanding the authorities to also take action against the guards who were also at the scene.
