Actress Florence Pugh, during an interview with Harper’s Bazaar in 2022 for their September issue, shared what she eats in a day to keep herself healthy and fit. She went on to state that she cannot have anything before she’s had her tea, which is Yorkshire tea with oat milk, first thing in the morning. After her tea, she has two boiled eggs with black coffee. Pugh noted that she sometimes makes herself a smoothie or a protein bar when she wants to grab and run.
But when the actress is not working, she said she’d have a half-English breakfast. For snacks throughout the day, she said that she’d take an MNS, Pret, Leon or an Itsu. For lunch, when it’s salad, Pugh said she takes rocket spinach, finely chopped pepper, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, and red onion, all in one bowl. The actress noted that she likes feta, olive oil, rice wine vinegar, and adds chilli to her salad.
For her afternoon snack, the actress goes for a cheese board with various cheeses, chutneys, bramble, and an apple with onions. Pugh noted that she enjoys her cheeseboard with some crackers. Pugh loves cheese, and her refrigerator is always filled with it. She added that at times she goes to her parents’ house, where she has roast chicken with potatoes.
Florence Pugh added that to start her evening she’d have a vodka martini, either Belvedere or Grey Goose. According to the actress, the best place for food in the world is Greece. She explains that she loves the family-style essence of it, and she loves how it’s cooked in one pot. She lastly added that she eats fruits as well.
Even though the diet was shared almost two years ago by the actress, it feels like a super easy and healthy diet that could be followed for a very long time. Sure, a few of the components might have changed, but mainly it feels like a good diet.
In an interview with Elle, the actress shared that after she got the part of Yelena Belova in the MCU, she needed to know the regimen for her character’s fitness.
Pugh noted at the time that she had heard about the grueling workouts and exacting diets, so she just wanted to make sure that she wasn’t a part of something where she was constantly checked on for the ‘right shape.’

In a recent appearance on She MD podcast, the Little Women actress revealed that she has been diagnosed with polycystic ovary syndrome and endometriosis. She added,
Florence Pugh went on to share that the doctor’s assessment was mind-boggling as she asked her if she’d ever had an egg count done. Pugh recalled being puzzled about why she would need to get he eggs count at a young age.
Gynecologist Dr. Thaïs Aliabadi, who is one of the hosts of the podcast and Pugh’s doctor, confirmed to her that she had PCOD and endometriosis and urged her to freeze her eggs. Pugh added,
The actress continued by stating that she feels really lucky that she got herself checked and diagnosed at a very young age, given that women can live with the condition for years without knowing. She has encouraged her friends and the women she has been in touch with to get a checkup done, noting that it is a simple conversation that every woman should be having when their periods start or when they start having intercourse.
