Kanye West going missing is perhaps one of the biggest 2023 highlights. But fans are going further down the rabbit hole and alleging that his disappearance is somehow linked to the Illuminati. YouTuber Jeffree Star attracted a lot of attention with his new year’s eve twitter thread about being a victim of the Hollywood Illuminati. In the series of tweets, he further claimed that Britney Spears and West have also been a target of the same powerful secret society. And now there’s an army of fans who believe that the ‘New World Order’ organization has finally got to him.

Kanye West and the Illuminati: a Twitter saga

Ye

Kanye West is one celebrity who has always been pretty vocal about the Illuminati and his rumored association with it. According to a report by MTV, back in 2010, the Yeezy founder posted a now-deleted tweet about the secret organization. It read,

“I’ve got question about ‘the illuminati’ … what is it exactly ??? … and why do people think pop stars have a membership???!!! LOL… Is illuminati and devil worshipping like the same thing … do they have a social network that celebs can sign up for?”

He further added jokingly,

“Question… can you devil worship on the new iphone??? LOL!!! What’s better for devil worshipping Iphone or the Droid… Does lucifer return text… is he or she on Skype? Don’t wanna be sexist.”

That’s Ye for us.

Ye clapped back in style at the Illuminati association allegation

The 2015 Tidal launch event dubbed an Illuminati moment

2015 also saw the Donda rapper make quite a viable argument about allegations of being associated with the Illuminati. Jay-Z launched his subscription-based music streaming service, Tidal in 2015. Its launch event was studded with stars like Rihanna, Nicki Minaj, Madonna, Usher, Calvin Harris, and West. And at the time the event was infamously dubbed an “Illuminati moment”.

The Bound 2 rapper clapped back at the conspiracy theorists,

“I heard a comment—a joke—about the Tidal press conference being an Illuminati moment. If there was actually an Illuminati, it would be more like the energy companies. Not celebrities that gave their life to music and who are pinpointed as decoys for people who really run the world.

I’m tired of people pinpointing musicians as the Illuminati. That’s ridiculous. We don’t run anything; we’re celebrities. We’re the face of brands. We have to compromise what we say in lyrics so we don’t lose money on a contract.”

That was indeed quite a logical response on the Gold Digger rapper’s part.
