“Is Joe Rogan my new daddy?”: Podcaster Joe Rogan Almost Caused a Divorce After Woman Began Fantasizing About Him In Front of Husband
UFC color commentator Joe Rogan is famous as the host of the podcast The Joe Rogan Experience. On the podcast, he discusses a plethora of things ranging from current events to martial arts and comedy with the different guests that appear on his show. Having begun his career as a comedian, Rogan then dipped his toes in acting and television broadcasting.
There are a lot of things that Rogan might have done, and one of those things is him almost breaking up a marriage, which is rather hilarious considering he was not even directly involved in the matter.
Joe Rogan Almost Caused a Couple’s Divorce
Just like a lot of other unexpected things that happened this year such as Taylor Swift’s breakup with Joe Alwyn, learning that Rogan almost caused a couple to split was most certainly also not on anyone’s bingo card. In the fifteenth episode, named Monetizing Hunter’s Funeral of YouTube‘s Stretch and Fade, Hunter and Noel swooned over how dreamy Rogan is.
During the episode, Hunter recalled an incident from when he was younger. He revealed that his mother’s attraction to Joe Rogan almost caused his parents to split. He said:
“There was one time when I was younger, my mom, I don’t know if she used to like, flick her bean to Fear Factor or something. She did! I don’t know. One time, she’s like “Oh! That Joe Rogan is so handsome!””
Hunter’s father was quite offended by his wife’s words and the whole matter turned into a big fight. The YouTuber’s father stayed away from home for two days. Since Hunter was young at the time and did not understand what was actually going on, he asked his mother, “So does that mean Joe Rogan is my new Daddy?” Hunter also said that his mother even bought a Fear Factor-like DVD, saying that she didn’t care and wouldn’t stop watching the show.
Fear Factor Contributed Largely to Joe Rogan’s Career
It is no secret that the Hardball actor had started out as a comedian and wished to continue in that line of career. However, he did dip his toes in everything within In 1999, in partnership with Fox Studios, he began planning to start his own television sitcom called The Joe Rogan Show. The plan fell through in 2001 when he was offered to host the American edition of Fear Factor.
Although having his own show would have been great for Rogan, even Fear Factor turned out to be rewarding for him as it catapulted him to fame by increasing the national exposure he had gotten from his first stand-up comedy album. The game show led to the actor landing more TV gigs. Given how dreamy-looking he was back then, it is not surprising that women used to swoon over him.
