Speaking with Josh Horowitz on his Happy, Sad, Confused podcast, Levy revealed his thoughts on Swift starring as Dazzler. He said: “It sure escapes the lips of social media every day, and that’s all I’m gonna say. It sounds like a great idea.” The director’s words have led to fans getting their hopes up for the cameo.
Taylor Swift might be the new gem in the already bejeweled star cast of Deadpool 3. It comes as a given that she will make out of the cameo given her massive fan following. As per a Bloomberg analysis in October 2023, her net worth is already $1.1 billion.
Swift has single-handedly given a huge boost to the economy of the US with her Eras Tour. She has been earning an estimated $13.6 million per show. However, she has been making her crew and the truck drivers who drive her equipment safely a part of her gold rush. Shawn Levy Is Finding It Easy To Get Talented People To Cameo In Deadpool 3
Deadpool 3 is not the first time director Shawn Levy will be working with Ryan Reynolds. They have previously collaborated on the movies Free Guy and The Adam Project. Both of these movies were quite popular among fans and also received positive critical reviews.
Shawn Levy also told Horowitz that getting people to cameo in Deadpool 3 is quite easy because of the big names that are already attached to it. So, the odds of Swift appearing as Dazzler in Deadpool 3 might be low, but they are not zero.
The Ryan Reynolds-starrer has already got the former X-Men star Hugh Jackman to cameo as Wolverine in Deadpool 3. Moreover, Matthew McFadyen and Emma Corrin are also going to appear in the movie. Corrin is set to portray the antagonist in the movie.
