“It was a wedding party”: While Falling in Love With Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt Surprised a Couple in the Best Way Possible
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie met on the set of the 2005 film Mr. & Mrs. Smith. Their relationship became a controversial topic as the Bullet Train star was still married to Jennifer Aniston. However, the star couple announced their separation in 2005. Jolie and Pitt continued to date and got married in 2014. However, in 2016 the Maleficent star filed for divorce 2016, and the couple finalized their divorce in 2019.
Although his marriage with his Mr. & Mrs. Smith co-star did not last long, meeting his ex-wife was not the only memorable thing for Pitt while working on the 2005 film. In his recent interview with W Magazine, he revealed how he crashed a wedding.
Brad Pitt Recalls Crashing a Wedding
During his cover interview for W Magazine, Brad Pitt recalled crashing a wedding party. When he was asked if he has ever crashed a wedding or a party, he revealed that he did crash a wedding once while working on the 2005 film Mr. & Mrs. Smith.
“I have crashed a wedding party. It was on the set of “Mr. & Mrs. [Smith],” the Fight Club star said. He further said, “We were filming down in this Deco building downtown, and up in the penthouse above, we kept seeing people going up and down.”
Pitt then shared that after learning that it was a wedding party, he decided to surprise the bride and groom. “It was a wedding party, so I crashed it. And they were okay with it,” he shared and laughed as he recalled the incident.

Brad Pitt Was Starstruck by John Cusack
During his interview, Brad Pitt also shared a story of being starstruck by the Hollywood star John Cusack. The Troy star shared that when he moved to Los Angeles, John Cusack was the first movie star he saw in person.
“In the early days, sure. I remember moving out here [to Los Angeles], and the first week I went to a Fishbone concert in the valley. I saw John Cusack, and that was the first I had ever seen a man or woman who actually worked in film. It was really strange, being in the same room with someone, who you watched on the screen.”
However, even after working for more than three decades, in Hollywood, he still hasn’t gotten the opportunity to share the screen with Cusack. Although he had a short cameo in John Cusack’s 1999 fantasy comedy, Being John Malkovich.
