While confessing her star-struck moment with Rodriguez, who was married to Cynthia Scurtis at that time, the singer recalls, “We shook hands, and it was this weird electricity for, like, three seconds. Three to five seconds of looking at somebody right in their eyes, and getting stuck. “He’s the best!” Lopez exclaimed with flushed cheeks and a wide smile. Although Rodriguez’s interest in Lopez dates back even further—in a 1998 interview, he referred to her as his “ideal date”.
A relationship between the two didn’t start to take shape until more than a decade after their 2005 encounter. This all began in 2017, when Lopez approached Rodriguez while he was chatting with Michael Strahan and Jamie Foxx at the Beverly Hills Hotel. This led to a date a few nights later. However, the two parted ways, and Jennifer Lopez began dating Ben Affleck before getting hitched to him in July 2022. However, Alex Rodriguez just recently made his relationship public with fitness instructor Jac Cordeiro.

Similarly, in April 2021, two years after becoming engaged, the couple made the official announcement, citing the fact that their relationship had reached its end.
Overall, despite a long list of public outings, their relationship ended in April 2021. J.Lo reconciled with her ex-husband Ben Affleck shortly after their breakup. And this year’s August saw the marriage of the newly formed couple. On the other hand, since the breakup, A-Rod has been with his friends and family. He once dated the model Kathryne Padgett, but their relationship ended quickly.
