She further revealed that with more fame and recognition, she was looking forward to staying sane with respect to the limelight she was subjected to. McAdams further shared-

“I felt guilty for not capitalizing on the opportunity that I was being given because I knew I was in such a lucky spot, but I also knew it wasn’t quite jiving with my personality and what I needed to stay sane. The Queen Bee Regina George said-

“I don’t know; I guess I wasn’t that excited about doing a commercial if I’m being totally honest. A movie sounded awesome, but I’ve never done commercials, and it just didn’t feel like my bag. Also…I didn’t know that everyone was doing it. I would, of course, always love to be part of a ‘Mean Girls’ reunion and hang with my plastics, but yeah, I found that out later.”

Rachel McAdams pointed out that she wasn’t excited about the commercial and had no idea that everyone would be there from the Plastic group. The musical reboot of Mean Girls is currently running in the theatres.
