Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck just celebrated their first Christmas together as a married couple. They got back together after almost 2 decades of calling it quits and tied the knot earlier this year. But ever since their honeymoon ended, rumors of marital bickering have been rife. Several public appearances of the two showed them with sour expressions on their faces hinting at trouble in paradise.

The Selena star recently shared pictures of her family’s Christmas celebration in her On the JLo newsletter, where she explained the theme of her 2022 Christmas celebration.

Jennifer Lopez shares ‘hummingbird’ Christmas theme with her fans

For this year’s holiday season, Jennifer Lopez zeroed down on the theme of ‘hummingbirds’ for her celebrations. She took to Instagram to share a picture of herself with her Christmas tree which was decorated with gold and silver hummingbirds along with teal blue glitzes. She was seen wearing a matching teal blue dress. The dress packed all her holiday spirit in it with flowers and ribbons motif. She completed the look with white flower earrings, hair tied back in a sleek bun, strappy red platform heels, and bright red lips.

“To me, hummingbirds are messengers of love… They’re also the fastest bird but they always have time to stop, eat something sweet and smell the roses. I identify with them, but more than anything whenever I see one, I feel like it’s a sign from God that everything is going to be OK.”

Further about the ‘hummingbird’ theme, the Jenny on the Block singer wrote in her newsletter, “So, I decided this year that the hummingbird would be a perfect theme.”

She also shared that for her new album as well, she has written a song called Hummingbird. And about her family’s celebration, she wrote,

“We have blended families, doubled the fun, doubled the love, doubled the presents and triple the chaos!!”

However, one can’t help but question how come the JLo Beauty founder did not share a single picture of the family celebration or even one with her husband, Ben Affleck, on her social media feed. It has only added to the speculations of the holly jolly Christmas not being so happy after all.
