Natalie Portman Is Stuck in Limbo After Benjamin Millepied Cheating Allegations
The last few weeks and months haven’t been very pleasant for the romance that found its wings during the filming of Black Swan.
Natalie Portman and Benjamin Millepied‘s relationship has hit roadblocks after it emerged that the French choreographer allegedly had an affair with climate activist Camille Etienne.
Initial reports suggested the 42-year-old could move on to the greener pastures after Millepied’s antics. But for the time being, Portman has reportedly “embraced a trial separation” as it is seen as the “best solution at this point.”
Insiders have indicated that the Closer actress is stuck in limbo as she also doesn’t want to just walk away from the relationship that took so much effort to grow over the years.
“It’s been very difficult to hold on to her marriage — and painful to let it go. She’s stuck in the middle,” they said. She “doesn’t want to throw it all away, but she’s also desperately unhappy and having serious trust issues.”
Portman shares two children with Millepied. Accordingly, it’s understandable that she has to take several things into account before taking any huge step.

There aren’t any concrete updates from Portman’s end regarding her relationship but there have been plenty of hints for her eagle-eyed followers and the media alike to uncover and analyze something of substance regarding her relationship with Millepied.
Earlier this month, the No Strings Attached star returned to Sydney, the city which was her home for a brief period. She was Down Under to support the National Women’s Soccer League team, Angel City Football Club. She co-founded the LA-based women’s soccer team in 2020.
However, the highlight for the paparazzi was the absence of her wedding ring from her beautiful outfit- which included a chic grey blazer over a white dress and a pair of fitted pale blue jeans – during her walk around the Sydney Harbour. This, as expected, left many wondering if she was sending any message to Millepied.
