“It’s cancelled life”: Oppenheimer Star Cillian Murphy Didn’t Find Filming to Be Rewarding Despite Working With Acclaimed Directors Like Christopher Nolan
With a lot of hype around about the new Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer, Peaky Blinders’ star, Cillian Murphy came out to talk about his experience while filming for this movie.
Fans are excited to watch the new movie made by Nolan. The shooting for the movie took place for just 57 days which left the Irish exhausted as well as he shared that he did not find the filming of the movie to be rewarding enough even though the star got to work with such an acclaimed and popular director like Nolan.
Cillian Murphy Shares Not Being Satisfied with Filming Movies
Cillian Murphy who played the role of J. Robert Oppenheimer recently shared about his becoming 40 in the coming months. “I’ll be turning 40, Just a couple of months.”
Despite being a part of blockbuster hits like Peaky Blinders, Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, The Dark Knight Rises, and Inception, the Hollywood star looks quite unhappy with his milestone.
“I feel like I’m entering a different phase of my life. I don’t mind embracing it. I had a really good time in my 20s and 30s. Now I’m ready for a bit more… decorum, I guess? A bit more moderation? Still enjoying being a young man, but looking over the wall into the other side, you know?”
It feels like the 28 Days Later star is taking his over-imagination to the next point where he has been thinking about his getting older and not being much satisfied.
He also shares about him getting older and older and how is used to have a good time during his 20s as well as 30s.

He also talked about his experience while shooting for the role of Tommy Shelby in the Peaky Blinders series, where the star worked day and night for around 16 hours. Although, as the movie was shot in Liverpool, he had to move away from his family and stay in a renter flat for which he said:
“is zero. It’s canceled life. You go home to your tiny apartment at the end of the day and you feed yourself for sustenance and you learn the lines for the next day and you try to get as much sleep as you possibly can. Which isn’t much. And then you get up and do it again.”
Here the actor shares his experience while shooting for the TV series. Also, there were times when the actor has also felt sick.
He shared his having a similar experience while shooting for Christopher Nolan‘s Oppenheimer. However, the Dunkirk star shared his experience while shooting for Nolna’s new biographical thriller.
“We shot it in 57 days. We were flying all over America, so I didn’t hardly have time to like to draw breath. You’re in this hysterically creative frame of mind, and then all of a sudden, it is over. In typical Chris fashion, he brought it in ahead of schedule and under budget like he does with all his movies.”
Here the actor shared about him more than he did when he was starring as Tommy Shelby. Although, the shoot was just 57 days which the Hollywood stars say is “remarkably fast”
