‘It’s F*cked Up, You’re Gonna Like It’: The Boys College Spinoff ‘Gen V’ Announced, Promises To Be Filled With ‘Blood, Guts & Everything Else’
Amazon Studios’ finally revealed the name of the upcoming live-action spinoff of The Boys, it’s called Gen V, which was the Supe serum in the series. The highly-anticipated series revolves around young adult superheroes that go to a college created by Vought International.
The cast of Gen V made the announcement on social media on Friday
The main cast of the series, Jaz Sinclair, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Lizzie Broadway, Chance Perdomo, London Thor, Asa Germann, Maddie Phillips, and Derek Luh all expressed their excitement to be part of the Boys universe and teased what fans can expect in Gen V’s Season 1.
Shelley Conn, Sean Patrick Thomas, and Marco Pigossi are also a part of the cast but they were not in the video.
As per Amazon, Gen V is an “irreverent, R-rated series that explores the lives of hormonal, competitive Supes as they put their physical, sexual, and moral boundaries to the test”.
The cast said of Gen V said that the fans will love the series
In the video, they said that the spin-off will be similar to The Boys in terms of “intensity, grit, and humor,” and Lizzie Broadway added that fans can expect a “roller coaster” ride with blood and guts. Chance Perdomo summed it up by simply stating that “it’s f*cked up” and fans are going to like it.

Prime Video will soon reveal further details
Michele Fazekas and Tara Butters, who wrote for Law & Order: SVU and Marvel’s Agent Carter, are the showrunners. Fazekas and Butters are the executive producers of Gen V alongside The Boys’ creator Eric Kripke, as well as Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, and comic book series writer Garth Ennis.
The Boys season 3 recently ended and the fourth season of the show was confirmed in June. Prime Video is expected to reveal further details, including the release window and trailer for Gen V.
The Boys is now streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
