“It’s just my f*ck up”: Arnold Schwarzenegger’s One Mistake in His Love Life Still Haunts Him
Hollywood action star Arnold Schwarzenegger opened up about his affair in a recent interview. Talking about his relationship with ex-wife Maria Shriver, Schwarzenegger also talked about his own mistake. However, while talking about this the actor showed nothing but respect to his ex-wife and also highlighted that despite all the fights that they have been through their bond is still strong.

Arnold Schwarzenegger Opens Up About His Affair
American actor, businessman, and filmmaker Arnold Schwarzenegger in a candid interview with People Magazine opened up about his affair with the housekeeper. Talking about this in the interview, Schwarzenegger said that it was his mistake that his marriage with Maria Shriver came to an end.
Further talking about this the actor also said that both he and his ex-wife have always come together on good terms for their kids. He also added that despite all the ups and downs they have been through, he has nothing both love and respect for Shriver.
Talking about this to the People Magazine the actor said “We didn’t have a fight. It’s just my f—up, right? We always made it very clear that the kids should not suffer because of that. My chapter with Maria will continue forever. Even though it’s a different relationship, there’s no reason for me to feel anything other than love for her.”
Both Schwarzenegger and Shriver shared four children, however, after Shriver found out about Schwarzenegger’s affair with the housekeeper the couple filed for divorce in 2011. Although, due to their complex property settlement procedure, the divorce wasn’t finalized until 2021.
Arnold Schwarzenegger Opens Up About His Difficult Childhood
While promoting the book ‘Be Useful: Seven Tools for Life’ the Terminator star Arnold Schwarzenegger opened up about his difficult childhood. Talking about his relationship with his father Schwarzenegger said that it was complicated.
He continued further and said that he grew up in a small village in Austria at the beginning of the Cold War alongside his parents. While his mother was very loving his father was strict and abusive. However, the actor also said he does not hate him for anything.

During his interview with the People Magazine, the actor said “I’m not into all this stuff, because I never really blamed my father for anything. I never ran around and said, “It’s my father’s fault.” It’s nobody’s fault. I have fond memories of my dad, and I don’t blame him for anything, simply because he did not know any better.”
Not only this the actor also said that it was his father and his behavior that has pushed him hard to be what he is today.
