Cillian Murphy Gives Out Major Spoiler Weeks Before Oppenheimer’s Release

During an interview with The Guardian, the Inception star spoke about multiple things- from talking about Christopher Nolan’s technique of filmmaking, and his chemistry with his on-screen wife, actor Emily Blunt to shelling out one of the biggest spoilers of the 2023 summer blockbuster Oppenheimer.
Cillian Murphy mentioned that the movie has scenes from the early life of J. Robert Oppenheimer which has been taken from the book. Cillian Murphy is a self-proclaimed critic and abstains from watching his movies. During the interview 47-year-old actor was asked whether he was satisfied with his performance in Oppenheimer, he mentioned-
“I am, yeah, I don’t like watching myself – it’s like, ‘Oh, fucking hell’ – but it’s an extraordinary piece of work. Very provocative and powerful. It feels sometimes like a biopic, sometimes like a thriller, sometimes like a horror. It’s going to knock people out. What [Nolan] does with film, it fucks you up a little bit.”
He would be seen opposite two female actors in Oppenheimer, Emily Blunt, and Florence Pugh while talking about his chemistry with the two actors, Cillian Murphy stated-
“They put two actors in a room to see if there’s any spark, and have all the producers and director at a table watching. I don’t know what metric they use, and it seems so outrageously silly, but sometimes you get a chemistry and nobody knows why. You can be immediately vulnerable and open, and try stuff. There were moments where I remember saying, ‘I couldn’t have done that if it wasn’t with you.’
