“It’s not over. God does not lose”: Tory Lanez’s Father Sonstar Peterson Accuses Megan Thee Stallion of Manipulating the System, Forcing His Son into Potential 23 Year Jail Term
The Tory Lanez shooting trial finally reached its verdict on Friday (23 December) in the Los Angeles Courthouse. Megan Thee Stallion testified against the rapper for shooting at her feet five times back in 2020. Seemingly it was tough for her to recount the experience and face her assaulter. But despite all that the Savage hitmaker put up a brave face and testified with clear convictions. And fortunately for Stallion, Lanez has been found guilty of all the charges against him. The Canadian rapper will be facing more than 22 years of prison time. And he will also probably be deported back to Canada.
However, while the Best Friend singer’s fans and supporters are over the moon with the verdict, Lanez’s family is clearly not satisfied with the outcome. His father Sonstar Peterson called out the justice system and even blamed Jay Z and his label Roc Nation among other people.

The Shooting Incident
As testified by Megan Thee Stallion, the shooting took place back in July 2020. At the time, she had been dating Tory Lanez. On the night of the incident, the pair had been returning from a Hollywood party. However, pretty soon talking escalated into a heated argument which led Stallion to get out of the car. And according to the Savage singer, the argument got heated after they started coming at each other’s musical careers. While testifying she said, “I feel like that really rubbed him the wrong way” referring to the comment she made on Lanez’s musical talent.
Furthermore, as soon as she was out of the car and started walking away, the Canadian rapper shot at her feet several times. Following that she was instantly wounded around the back of her feet. But as she had been scared and was only wearing a bikini, she had to get back into the vehicle. Following the incident, Stallion had to get surgery due to her wounds from the shooting.
