‘It’s Not So Much About S*x, It’s About Power’: Chris Hemsworth Reveals Why He Likes Watching Wife Elsa Pataky’s On-Screen Intimate Scenes

Chris Hemsworth married actress Elsa Pataky in 2010 and they have three kids together – India Rose, Tristan, and Sasha. In 2019, Elsa Pataky was asked if her husband watched her intimate scenes and she revealed that they do watch each other’s intimate scenes, which is a part of their work.

During an interview with OK! Magazine, Elsa Pataky was asked if her husband, Chris Hemsworth, has watched all of her intimate scenes in Netflix’s Tidelands. The actress replied,

“Yes, he does. But I think it has so much behind it, and in that [first s*x] scene, it’s not so much about s*x. It’s about power and the relationship between two characters that actually distracts you from what is happening. It’s a very different kind of s*x scene, I think.”

Elsa Pataky talked about watching Chris Hemsworth’s s*x scenes

The interviewer then asked her if she watches her husband’s intimate scenes too, to which she replied,

“Yes, it’s part of our work. We know that, you know? It’s what we do, and there’s nothing there [with our co-stars]. We’re all very professional. Like, c’mon. His best friend came to me and was like, ‘That was horrible!’ and I was like, ‘Well, settle down, because Chris has had a lot of them, too.’”

She stated that it’s a part of their work and it does not affect her.

Elsa Pataky and Chris Hemsworth got married in 2010

The two met in early 2010 and tied knots over Christmas weekend in 2010 in Australia only a few months after making their red carpet debut. In 2010, Chris Hemsworth talked about Elsa Pataky,

“There was no light-bulb moment. From the first time we met, we just made sense. She’s fun. She’s outgoing, and she has a sense of humor and a passionate attitude toward life, which is nice to try to keep up with.”

The couple welcomed their first child in May 2012 India Rose and were later blessed with Tristan and Sasha.
