“It’s the worst thing ever”: After Preaching For Years, Andrew Tate Breaks His Own Rules About Smoking to Teach His Doubters a Lesson
- Former kickboxing world champion Andrew Tate has always been a huge advocate of smoking.
- He quit smoking after smoking more than usual for two months just to show his doubters that he can do it.
- The Romanian authorities have returned nine of his luxury cars after confiscating them in early 2023.
Controversial social media commentator Andrew Tate is back at it, and this time around, he has broken one of his own rules to prove someone else wrong. He has never been known to back down in the face of challenges and criticism and now is no different.
It is common knowledge that Tate is a huge fan of smoking. He has not only publicly professed his love for smoking, but also exhibited the same as he could be often seen smoking one of his cigars. However, he gave up smoking for a while to teach a lesson to someone who doubted his ability to do so.
Andrew Tate Quit Smoking to Prove His Doubters Wrong
Andrew Tate began training in martial arts and kickboxing in 2005 while working in the TV advertisement industry to support himself. By 2014, he became a four-time kickboxing world champion, and that too in two weight divisions. However, he retired from professional kickboxing and shifted his focus toward building his online presence, where he became known for his controversial views and self-promotion.
Tate’s anti-feminist and ‘toxic-masculine’ views are widely criticized across the globe. His influence on the younger generation has been huge and his misogynistic views have led to his expulsion from many social media platforms. That, however, has not deterred him at all as he continues to post videos on the alt-tech platforms, Rumble and Gettr.
Recently, a clip from one of his Rumble videos has gone viral on X in which he claims that quitting smoking is not hard at all. He said:
I recently quit smoking, not because I need to quit and not because smoking is bad. Smoking’s fantastic! Smoking is a great idea. It’s because someone convinced me it was hard, and I made the mistake to people. I hate listening to them. It’s the worst thing ever because everyone’s a f*cking loser.
He further said that for about two months, he smoked from a shisha pipe which is even stronger than the cigars he usually smokes. Then, he decided to quit smoking for two weeks and managed to go through 11 of those easily. He added that the simplicity of the challenge frustrated him.
Andrew Tate to Get Back Nine of His Supercars Seized by the Romanian Authorities
Tate has been involved in five legal investigations, two of which are in Romania. In late 2022, Andrew and Tristan Tate were arrested in Romania over alleged human trafficking and r*pe charges. In January 2023, CNN reported that the Romanian authorities had seized 29 of their assets which also included many supercars.
Recently, The Sun reported that nine of the luxury cars worth millions are going to be returned to him by the Romanian authorities. It includes two McLarens, four Ferraris, a Maybach, a Maserati, and a Lamborghini Huracan. The Tates’ defence lawyer, Eugen Vidineac, welcomed the ruling.
