“I’ve missed it”: Sebastian Stan Can’t Wait to Return to Work With Florence Pugh in Thunderbolts After Long Absence from MCU
Sebastian Stan is all set to appear in Marvel’s Thunderbolts, which was held off due to the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes and therefore could not make it to its initial 2024 release date. In a recent interview, he opened up about how he cannot wait to get back to the project, which will also have Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova by his side.
Sebastian Stan’s titular role as Bucky Barnes, aka The Winter Soldier, has won many hearts over the years. He has been an inseparable part of the Avengers storyline since being introduced in Captain America: The First Avenger. He last appeared in the MCU as Bucky in Falcon and the Winter Soldier and also lent his voice to the acclaimed animated series What If…?
Sebastian Stan Comments On His MCU Return In Thunderbolts
Marvel’s Thunderbolts is going to be a sequel to the MCU classics Ant-Man and the Wasp, The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, Black Widow, and Captain America: Brave New World. The movie is going to be the thirty-seventh film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and the fifteenth installment of Phase Six. Very little is still known about the project, except that it would be the MCU’s Suicide Squad-esque film that would gather a set of villains and anti-heroes in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and team them up for a threat more consequential than their personal demons.
