Australian actor Jacob Elordi rose to fame by starring in Netflix’s The Kissing Booth film trilogy from 2018 to 2021 and quickly became a household name. Elordi’s portrayal of Noah Flynn was highly appreciated by the audience and the critics, following which he starred as Nate Jacobs on HBO’s Euphoria alongside Zendaya, Sydney Sweeney, and more.

The actor recently gained recognition and appreciation as Elvis Presley after starring in Priscilla followed by starring alongside Barry Keoghan in Emerald Fennell’s Saltburn. The actor’s performance in the black comedy psychological thriller was highly appreciated by the audience and the critics and earned Elordi a BAFTA nomination for Best Actor in a Supporting Role. However, despite the fame and success, Jacob Elordi has found himself in deep waters with a recent alleged accusation from a radio producer.

Jacob Elordi under investigation after a radio producer’s alleged altercation accusations

According to Variety, Saltburn star Jacob Elordi has found himself involved in a police investigation in Australia after a radio producer claimed that the actor had allegedly assaulted him.

Australia’s Daily Telegraph reported the news first stating that the star was at a hotel in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs when Joshua Fox, producer of The Kyle and Jackie O Show approached him. The radio producer in his account of the situation mentioned that he had approached the actor to ask if he could have some of his ‘bathwater’ for Jackie O for her birthday.

Jacob Elordi’s bathwater is a reference to his recently released movie Saltburn Scene. The scene where Oliver played by Barry Keoghan slurps at the water in which Felix played by Jacob Elordi had just bather and mast***ated. The radio producer noted that the actor asked him to stop filming him and delete the footage. Joshua noted that the situation escalated and added on the show,

“I refuse to because I feel uncomfortable right now and this is the only evidence. And then Jacob kind of just flips and he kind of pushes me against the wall and his hands are on my throat.”

A statement from New South Wales Police via Variety was released which stated,

“Officers attached to Eastern Beaches Police Area Command are investigating after a man was allegedly assaulted outside a hotel in Sydney’s Easter Suburbs. Police were told about 3:30 p.m on Saturday 3rd 2024 that a 32-year-old man was allegedly assaulted by a 26-year-old man.”

The statement noted that the man had not sustained any injuries adding that inquiry surrounding the incident is in process.

Jacob Elordi addresses Saltburn‘s ‘bathtub scene’

The young actor, who is currently a hot topic in the industry, especially after his spectacular performance in Saltburn as Felix addressed the famous bathtub scene from the movie. During an interview with Stream Wars, Elordi shared,

“I haven’t really heart too many because I try to hide away from it. But I went to a screening of the picture in Brisbane when it sort of first played and it was unbelievable because everybody was engaged and sort of gasping at the screen and yelling at the screen and everything like that. And I haven’t been in a movie like that in a really, really long time. So, I haven’t heart any of the really- I mean, I hope there’s no terrible stories but yeah.”

Talking about the particular scene, he said that he was excited when he read it, adding that he realized people don’t see things like that in most mainstream movies. Elordi lastly added that it was great that Emerald Fennell was allowed to kind of push those boundaries and expose people like that.
