James Corden Is Preparing His Exit 

James Corden, although delayed in joining the industry of hosting late-night shows, he is definitely one of the well-known personalities. Making his presence known in 2015, the British actor signed a contract with The Late Late Show and embarked on the journey for 8 long years. Including his Carpool Karaoke segments and crosswalk performances with celebrities, Corden gave his audience some of the best moments with their favorite celebrities. 

However, on a recent note, James Corden shocked his fans to the core by announcing his exit from the show. Announcing Thursday’s edition of CBS network’s show, Corden stated, “the hardest decision I’ve ever had to make”. Disclosing about leaving his duties behind, the British actor added, “It’s been it’s a really hard decision to leave because I’m so immensely proud of the show. I’m thrilled to be extending [for a year]”. 

Announcing his exit in 2022, Corden extended his stay for a year, thus, it is finally time for him to say goodbye to the show. Leaving by the end of April 2023, Corden creates an emotional moment for his audience and fans.

Expressing his grief, James Corden mentioned how he went on extending his stay since he felt emotional every time he decided to leave. “I always thought I’d do it for five years and then leave and then I stayed on,” Corden revealed. Further, explaining the reason behind his departure Corden stated, “There’s still some other things that I feel I want to do”. Explaining his reason as a willingness to explore rather than being hurt for cash, Corden denied his viewers the benefit of the doubt. 

James Corden is definitely not leaving the show for monetary issues, since his net worth is quite impressive. Estimating his net worth as high as $70M, Corden made a huge earning from The Late Late Show. Taking over the responsibilities of the show from Craig Ferguson in 2015, the British star embarked on his journey. Reportedly negotiating a salary between $4M to $5M, James Corden secures his contract with CBS network. 

However, James Corden stepping away from the show might mark its end. Deadline reported, CBS is scrapping The Late Late Show to replace it with Stephen Colbert‘s @midnight.
