The theory based on ‘The New Frontier’ says that the “Lanterns” i.e the Lantern Corps will set up “The Centre,” also known as ‘Dinosaur Island,’ as the primary villain in the first DCU chapter, mostly in the first Justice League: The New Frontier film. (Source: Reddit)

The theory was inspired by James Gunn’s video on DCU’s YouTube, where he said, “This is a story of a couple of Green Lanterns, John Stewart and Hal Jordan. And, we have a few other lanterns peppered in there. But this is a terrestrial-based TV show which is almost like a true detective, with a couple of Green Lanterns, who are space cops, watching over precinct Earth. In it, they discover a terrifying mystery that ties into our larger story of the DCU.”

In The New Frontier, ‘the centre’ can corrupt humans emotionally and it could range from “basic irritability to literally forming cults that support the Centre.” The centre is technically born under the core of the earth, observing human life for millions of years via telepathy. The fans suggest that the centre won’t be standing against the Lanterns if it is the main antagonist in the Justice League.
