Even the 29-year-old daughter of Eric Marlon Bishop, aka Jamie Foxx, also initially asked for absolute privacy, putting up an Instagram post and updating the world about her father’s condition.
Corinne Foxx is the elder daughter of the Ray actor, who is also a budding model and actress. She took to Instagram on April 12th, sharing a post regarding his father’s health. She said-
“We wanted to share that, my father, Jamie Foxx, experienced a medical complication yesterday. Luckily, due to quick action and great care, he is already on his way to recovery. We know how beloved he is and appreciate your prayers. The family asks for privacy during this time.”

What Exactly Happened To Jamie Foxx?
There is not any clear information out there yet about what health condition exactly took down Foxx. However, according to some recent sources, the condition of the Ray actor was so bad that he almost lost it all.
“Jamie suffered a serious medical episode and needed immediate attention,” according to sources.
“It was touch and go for days with him, and he had to be revived—he is very lucky to be alive! He’s very lucky he got the treatment he did,” said another insider, published on the Gulf News.
“Jamie suffers from high blood pressure, which doctors say can cause clots in the brain, leading to a stroke. Doctors believe this was a long time coming, and really, if they hadn’t acted fast, Jamie might well have been a goner.”
The immense pressure and stress during the filming of Back in Action contributed to the degrading health condition of the Oscar-winning actor, pushing him to continuous meltdowns on set. He even fired some directors and his own personal driver out of frustration and tension.
“Jamie has absolutely been troubled throughout the shoot,” according to an insider. Things on set also have not been very great for Cameron Diaz because of Foxx, who is making a comeback on screen after a long time.

“He’s OK, thank God. He’s still in the hospital, and doctors are running tests, but he’s awake and alert. They’re keeping him under observation.”

Following many reports, when the Foxx health crisis began, the production of the upcoming Back in Action almost stopped. However, days after when the situation got a little better, on April 17th, Diaz returned to shooting for the upcoming Netflix movie without the Ray actor, accompanied by stunt doubles and other cast members.
Cameron Diaz was last seen in her 2014 remake of Annie as Miss Hannigan. Back in Action is a big cinematic outing for Diaz, after almost nine years of break in her career.
