Jamie Foxx’s Fans Are Finally Relieved After Scary Updates on His Medical Conditions
Since Jamie Foxx is one of the most talented actors in the business, news of his hospitalization in April following a medical scare worried and concerned fans all over the world. However, all rumors have since been dispelled.
The actor has yet to address the terrifying medical emergency and clarify what occurred, but he did share a brief statement in May reassuring fans that he is recovering and is grateful for all the love.

Jamie Foxx spotted for the first time post-hospitalization
Jamie Foxx was recently spotted by TMZ on a boat on the Chicago River in which the actor looked healthy and showed a peace sign to the photographer. He was on board with several other guests and looked positive and in high spirits.
Foxx donned an all-black outfit with his aviator shades on and his fans were relieved as soon as the video was made public as it showed the actor was in good spirits.
The actor was admitted to an Atlanta Hospital back in April after he reportedly faced a medical complication while filming his upcoming Netflix film Back in Action, starring alongside Cameron Diaz. Foxx shared a brief statement back in May addressed to the fans and supporters stating that he appreciates all the love and he feels blessed.
Foxx’s daughter Corrine also shared an update about her father’s health after he was hospitalized in April; “We wanted to share that, my father, Jamie Foxx, experienced a medical complication yesterday. Luckily, due to quick action and great care, he is already on his way to recovery. We know how beloved he is and appreciate your prayers. The family asks for privacy during this time.”

John Boyega shares an update about Jamie Foxx’s health
Actor John Boyega, who stars alongside Foxx in They Cloned Tyrone recently spoke to People magazine and discussed his health. Boyega said, “He finally picked up the phone. Thank you, bro. He’s doing well. And then, you know, we just gave him the privacy, and we can’t wait for his return.”
The actor was asked if he could share what exactly they said; he said he just gave Foxx well wishes directly and he was going to wait until he came back out there, adding that he could take as much time as he wanted. Boeyga also added that they all love Foxx.
Datari Turner, co-producer of the movie alongside Jamie Foxx also shared with the publication, “He’s doing amazing. I promise you. Doing really, really good. Director Juel Taylor talked to him yesterday. John Boyega talked to him yesterday. He’s in really, really good shape and spirits. And he’ll be back on the screen. He’ll be back to work very soon.”
Nick Cannon stepped in to take Jamie Foxx’s place as host of Beat Shazam
After Jamie Foxx’s hospitalization in April, Nick Cannon stepped in to fulfill the host duties for the sixth season of the Fox game show Beat Shazam, which premiered in May while Foxx recovered from his medical scare.
Teams of two compete in the interactive game show Beat Shazam to recognize the greatest hit songs of all time while racing against the clock and their opponents. For a chance to win $1 million, the team with the most money in the bank will face off against the Shazam app.
The channel released a statement at the time announcing Nick Cannon as the host and Kelly Osbourne as the guest DJ, adding that everyone at Fox Entertainment wishes Jamie Foxx well as he continues to recover and they greatly appreciate Nick Cannon’s willingness to jump in and help them.
