Later in 2007, Hudson was briefly linked to NFL player Kerry Rhodes. The two were spotted together on several occasions but never officially confirmed a relationship.
In 2008, Hudson got engaged to wrestler David Otunga. The couple welcomed a son together, David Daniel Otunga Jr., in 2009. Hudson and Otunga were engaged for nearly a decade before splitting in 2017. Their relationship often made headlines, with Otunga accused of abuse at one point, though charges were later dropped.

That summer, they were spotted courtside at an NBA finals game. Most recently, Common was a guest on Hudson’s talk show where he coyly alluded to their relationship status.
While neither has officially confirmed they are dating, they have done little to dispel the rumors. It’s clear Hudson and Common have taken their friendship to the next level.
At 51, Common is over a decade older than the 40-year-old Hudson. Yet the age gap doesn’t seem to bother the couple. In interviews, they have gushed about their bond. It’s apparent there is a genuine connection between the two talented stars.
