The media quickly went into a spiral and people could not help wondering what could have possibly gone wrong with their seemingly perfect relationship. A source has recently claimed to an outlet that the Good Will Hunting actor’s relationship with ex-wife Jennifer Garner has something to do with it.
Jennifer Lopez Is Allegedly Predicting That Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck Will Reunite
Shortly after his split from Jennifer Lopez, Ben Affleck began dating Jennifer Garner. They got married in 2005 and became parents to three kids before their amicable split in 2018. In all the years post the split, Garner and Affleck have been quite close which is facilitated by their mutual decision to share the physical and legal custody of their children.
Garner’s bond with her ex-husband did not seem to have wavered in the slightest even after he married the Jenny from the Block singer. As one can imagine, this might have been a cause of distress for Lopez. In fact, rumors often circulated that Lopez was quite disapproving of this bond between the ex-partners.
A source has now recently opened up to In Touch and claimed that Lopez believes Affleck and Garner will reunite. The source said:
J. Lo is fuming and feeling like a total fool, especially after seeing the photos of Jen and Ben together at Violet’s college drop off. The way they are looking at each other is proof in J. Lo’s eyes that there’s a lot more than just coparenting going on, she’s now predicting they’re going to get back together. It’s so painful and humiliating, she feels beyond betrayed.
According to People, Garner and Affleck were photographed at the airport on their return to Los Angeles after dropping off their oldest daughter Violet Garner at Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut, hours before Lopez filed for a divorce.

A couple of days ago, Page Six reported that the estranged couple were photographed at a brunch with their kids at the Beverly Hills Hotel in Beverly Hills, California. While the songstress was seen wearing a long-sleeved crop and flared dark-wash jeans, the Pearl Harbor actor was donning a blue button-down shirt and jeans. A source said:
Ben and JLo are currently at the Polo Lounge at the Beverly Hills Hotel holding hands and kissing. The kids are with them, but at a separate table.
This, however, does not mean that the divorce is no longer happening. In fact, a source close to People has said:
They are still moving forward with the divorce though. They are working out financial details amicably. A divorce is never easy, but Jennifer doesn’t want to be selfish about it.
Reportedly, Lopez went out with Affleck amidst their divorce proceedings only for their kids who have fun when they are together. Being a mother, seeing her kids happy makes the Love Don’t Cost a Thing happy, so it seems understandable that she went out with Affleck. Her alleged thoughts about Garner and Affleck’s relationship diminish any hopes for reconciliation.
