Johnny Depp Allegedly Tried To Bring Up Amber Heard’s High Escort Past, Heard’s Legal Team Believes It Was The Reason She Was Sexually Harassed, Tried To Retaliate With Erectile Dysfunction Claims
Due to a lot of documents getting leaked to the press after the famous defamation trial took place, news of potential counters and attacks that both parties could have utilized is now seeing the light of day. One of the recent leaks revolves around Johnny Depp’s legal team having to use the actress’s exotic dancer profession as a point to bring up in court.
Johnny Depp and Amber Heard continue their legal battle
In the judgment declared for the defamation trial between the two celebrities, Amber Heard was ordered to pay $10 million and $3.5 million to Johnny Depp. However, Johnny Depp was not fully in the clear as he was also ordered to pay the Aquaman actress $2 million.
Since this ruling was declared, Amber Heard has been trying her level best to appeal a new case against Johnny Depp due to a faulty juror who was present during the judgment. However, Johnny Depp did not stay silent either and is charging the actress in an attempt to dismiss her case being appealed by the courts.
Johnny Depp wanted to use Amber Heard’s escort past in the trial
Recently, numerous documents have been leaked and some of them talk about Amber Heard’s previous life before becoming an actress and being married to Johnny Depp. This was at that time when Amber Heard was a professional exotic dancer instead of a Hollywood actress.
According to RadarOnline, Amber Heard’s legal team criticized the attempts of Johnny Depp’s team using her time as an exotic dancer to disprove her claims and were completely against “Mr. Depp attempting to frivolously and maliciously suggest or imply that Ms. Heard was at one time an escort.”
Amber Heard’s legal team would have countered with claims of Johnny Depp’s erectile dysfunction
Amber Heard’s team seemed to be grasping at straws with the point. Blaming the actor for violence due to his ‘supposed’ erectile dysfunction has got to be a new low for any lawyer to bring up in their defense strategies.
“Though Mr. Depp would rather not disclose his erectile dysfunction condition, such a condition absolutely is relevant to sexual violence, including Mr. Depp’s anger and use of a bottle to rape Ms. Heard. Mr. Depp’s erectile dysfunction makes it more probable that Mr. Depp would be angry or agitated in encounters with Ms. Heard, and that he would resort to a bottle to r*pe Ms. Heard.“
However, the point was quickly dismissed as further notes state: “This relevance is not substantially outweighed by the danger of unfair prejudice.”
