All those who could not watch the live stream of the controversial trial of Johnny Depp and Amber Heard can now watch it as the trial is getting a TV show adaptation. It is quite easy to understand that the trial that lasted for 6 weeks was not possible to watch and be updated as the drama between the ex-couple unfolded the realities of their lives. Throughout the trial, various headlines that were on the internet and will now get on the small screen by the show, Law and Order: Special Victims Unit recreating the controversial trial.

Reportedly, the makers of the Law and Order: Special Victims Unit have not confirmed the news yet, but the new photos from the sets hint that the episode is locked. The photos show that the production is already in development and the special chapter had Det. Olivia Benson played by Mariska Hargitay. She is seen leaving the courtroom alongside a celebrity played by Julia Goldani Telles where her fans are seen holding placards.
Series to have fans just like the controversial trial
Just like Amber Heard and Johnny Depp‘s trail, the fans seemed similar to “Team Amber” and “Team Johnny” divided in the photos. The placards read, “I Stand With Austin,” “Team Austin,” and “Team Kelsey.” Since there is no confirmation from the production and everything is kept under wraps, it is assumed that the episode focusing on the controversial trial will be seen in the 24th season which will return in the fall.
What to expect from the TV recreation of the trial?
As the series is known for basing episodes on real-life cases, one can not wait to watch the real-life drama getting on to a TV adaptation. The series actor Mariska Hargitay will be playing Olivia Benson, Ice T will be playing Odafin “Fin” Tutuola, Kelli Giddish will be playing Amanda Rollins, Peter Scanavino as Dominick Carisi Jr., and Octavio Pisano will be playing Detective Joe Velasco in the episode.
