However, this poses a problem since the latest fan theory suggests that the King of Curses will eat someone important to death. Yes, you read that right. Ryomen Sukuna might actually eat a character, and the theory suggests that it is a possibility.

Gege Akutami, the creator of Jujutsu Kaisen, definitely has stowed away a new trick up their sleeves, and the next few chapters will see them maneuvering all the chess pieces on the board like a puppeteer. It is very likely that fans won’t like what’s about to come.

An X user, @KaiyoBreeze, posted that their theory for the battle is that Sukuna will eat Yuta/Gojo. Given that Sukuna called Yuta his “main dish”, the theory does make sense on a base level. The user also states that since Sukuna was in Megumi’s body, he couldn’t consume Yuta/Gojo. However, with Gojo revived in Yuta’s body, the theory might be true.

Although some other users objected to the theory, stating that mangakas sometimes play with words and might mean something else entirely, the theory does have some logic behind it, given that it is important to get rid of his body now so they can’t keep reviving Gojo.

Another user stated that the theory has already been proved right, except Sukuna did not eat Yuta (obviously), but Tengen. So, in a way, Gege Akutami’s statement has already been addressed. But another X user claimed that this statement was not made by Akutami at all, rather it was an interviewer who brought this up. Reddit user bbytarantula pointed out that the theory about Sukuna going to eat Megumi might be a possibility. Gege allegedly created Sukuna based on an urban legend that was posted on 2chan. The Redditor provides a thread of the urban legend and states the reason why they believe this is a possibility.

Another interesting fact is that Sukuna’s Domain Expansion is called Fukumamizushi in Japanese. Fukuma means a place where demons hide while Mizushi means the place inside the palace where the emperor eats or the kitchen. Hence, the name of Sukuna’s Domain Expansion can be taken as “Sukuna’s kitchen” or “Emperor Sukuna’s dining place.”
