In an interview on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Winslet addressed the incident with her trademark humor. When the photo of the moment was shown, she said (via E!Online),
Look at Michael Shannon! He’s so delighted. I’m feeling Susan Sarandon’s t**s, shameless!
Kimmel asked if she had asked permission first, to which Winslet replied, “No! Of course not! I’m just like, ‘Hi, Susan!'”
Sarandon had her own reaction to this incident. Turns out, she was totally cool with it. During her own appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Sarandon said,
I don’t know if she was trying to see if they were real? It was lovely. I felt bad for him (Michael) because he was kind of caught in the middle.
Sarandon then explained that there is a sense of camaraderie among women who have been in the industry for a while.
We kind of feel like we know each other, the women that survive in this business for any amount of time. So, it felt perfectly fine, it didn’t feel strange at all.

The images showed Blanchett and Larson touching Winslet’s stomach with excitement. It was enough for the internet to go wild with pregnancy rumors and the reaction is quite justified as well.
However, a source close to Winslet quickly shut down the baby talk, telling TMZ that she was simply showing off the fancy material of her dress to them. But even after the denial, there were still talks about her pregnancy for a while.
As of now, Kate Winslet is 48 years old and happily married to Edward Abel Smith. They got married in December 2012 and have a son, Bear Blaze Winslet. Winslet also has two other children from previous relationships.
