Scarlett Johansson is Back in the MCU Again
Scarlett Johansson is back in the Marvel scene as an executive producer for Thunderbolts*! She’s been playing Natasha Romanoff, aka Black Widow, since 2010 and made a big sacrifice in Avengers: Endgame.
Her last solo flick, Black Widow, dropped in 2021 and had some drama when it hit theaters and Disney+ at the same time, which led to a lawsuit. Now Disney’s confirmed she’s involved with Thunderbolts*, which makes total sense since it features characters from her Black Widow story.
With Johansson producing Thunderbolts*, it shows Marvel’s still about keeping those connections strong. The first trailer for the film (watch it on Marvel Entertainment’s YouTube channel) has already dropped, and fans are hyped for its 2025 release!
