With just a few days left before Ryan Seacrest exits the show after serving for 6 years, Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos found it necessary to throw a farewell party. With teary eyes, a sentimental speech, and a lavish dinner party, the American Idol host marks his last few days before he finally leaves Live.

Kelly Ripa Hosted A Dinner Party For Ryan Seacrest
Invited to his farewell dinner party at a three-Michelin-star restaurant on Wednesday, Ryan Seacrest creates an emotional moment for all. Recalling his days on Live with Kelly and Ryan, the 48-year-old host gave a sentimental speech. “Welcome to this evening, it’s so nice to see our Live family and our Live family’s family,” kicking off his introductory speech, Seacrest moved on to thank for the dinner party.
“I’m grateful to have been a part for six years. I wanted to get together and enjoy something that I like a lot, which is great food.” Seacrest mentioned. Finding all his Live colleagues, gathered around him, the American Idol emcee, thanked Kelly Ripa and his executive producer Michael Gelman. Keeping his speech lighthearted, Seacrest purposefully thanked all, “What am I going to miss? Well, for starters, I will miss the red herrings. I will also miss sharing the bathroom, well, with everyone”.
Ryan Seacrest Makes A Sentimental Speech
Fondly remembering his time on Live with Kelly and Ryan, Ryan Seacrest enjoyed his last dinner with his friends and fellow colleagues. Pondering about the legendary Halloween show and the post-Oscar episode, Seacrest was on the verge of tears. Recalling his 6 years on Live, the 48-year-old threw the spotlight on Kelly Ripa. “Working alongside Kelly over the past six years has been a dream job and one of the highlights of my career…I will miss our mornings together” Seacrest expressed.
Moving on he thanked the executive producer for giving him a chance and the entire crew for creating the most beautiful moments. “I also want to thank Michael Gelman and the entire staff and crew – we’ve made memories to last a lifetime” Seacrest shared.
Reminding everyone of Mark Consuelos who is to take over his place after his exit, the 48-year-old congratulated him. “It’s been a memorable ride and now I’m excited to pass the baton to Kelly’s ‘real’ husband, Mark” Seacrest shared.
