Kelly Ripa’s Wardrobe Malfunction Makes ‘Live’ Co-Host Ryan Seacrest Super Uncomfortable as She Awkwardly Wiggles Her Tushy in Front of Him
Kelly Ripa has a way of attracting headlines whenever and however. Recently, the 52-year-old had a minor wardrobe malfunction while on the latest episode of her daytime talk show Live! with Kelly and Ryan. Ripa was seen wearing a navy blue blouse tucked in emerald green trousers, but the trousers seemed to have some issues with the fit. And Seacrest was the one who had to keep his composure while looking visibly disturbed onscreen, more than Ripa herself, one might say.
Kelly Ripa’s wardrobe malfunction on Live!
On Friday’s episode of Live!, cohost Ryan Seacrest was supposed to read a list of “travel hacks”, which he later dubbed “hidden gems”. As he was about to share these ‘gems’, the Live Wire writer got up and started lightly yanking at her pants. The 48-year-old was visibly discomforted and asked his cohost, “You alright?”
The mother of three replied while tugging at her pants uncomfortably, “The dry cleaner clearly shrunk these.” Seacrest asked again,
“You need that static spray?… I’d buy a size bigger, and then when they shrink, it feels comfortable.”
To this Kelly Ripa retorted, “I did. Double shrinkage.”
After the absurd ordeal, they continued with their “travel hacks”, for as they say, the show must go on.
When cakes descended from ceilings on Live! with Kelly and Ryan
The All My Children alum seems to be having quite a week as in another recent episode of Live!, Ripa was flabbergasted when a literal cake was suddenly lowered from the ceiling while she was on-air with Seacrest.
On Tuesday’s episode, the two had a fun little banter about bringing in eggs for one of the producers of the ABC show, named Dave Mullen. They went on to contextualize the conversation by adding that Mullen was a “big baker.”
Ripa was quite shocked of course, probably more so because her handmade scarf was supposed to be suspended on the show instead of the frosting-laden cake. She went on to joke,
“You mean my scarf that took three weeks to make could not descend from the sky but his Whole Foods cake just drops down?”
However, she moved on very soon and so did the show.
