Travis Barker postponed gigs due to a family emergency
Blink-182‘s abrupt announcement of details about their next tour had its fans in a frenzy. The story quickly took an unexpected turn, however, when the band revealed that Travis Barker‘s urgent family emergency required them to cancel numerous European performances. The concerts in Glasgow, Belfast, and Dublin had to be postponed due to Barker having to fly back to the United States, the band explained in a statement on September 1, 2023. They promised that more details regarding the new dates would be released soon.
This family emergency appears to have occurred at the same time as Kourtney Kardashian‘s pregnancy. On June 17, 2023, Kourtney Kardashian, the Poosh company’s founder, stunned everyone by making a special pregnancy announcement during a Blink-182 concert. She displayed a banner that read, “Travis I’m Pregnant,” as a tribute to a sign seen in the band’s renowned “All the Small Things” music video from 2009. Barker dove into the crowd to embrace his wife as he exploded with delight.
Later, after uploading a photo of Barker amusingly drumming on her growing belly to Instagram, Kardashian expressed her profound thankfulness and joy. And now, it appears that the family emergency was actually that the Poosh founder had a false labor scare, as per a report.
Travis Barker and Kourtney Kardashian were spotted leaving the hospital
Travis Barker’s current family emergency appears to be connected to his pregnant wife Kourtney Kardashian. But by the looks of it, their child has not yet arrived. On Saturday, handlers and security personnel were seen accompanying the Blink-182 drummer and the oldest Kardashian sibling as they left a hospital in the Los Angeles region. Notably, Kardashian still looked very much pregnant and there was no trace of a baby. This dismisses earlier theories that the family emergency was connected to her giving birth.
The family emergency’s exact nature is yet unknown, but the good news is that Kourtney Kardashian appeared to be feeling better when she left the hospital and returned home. Perhaps it was just a hoax labor scare. Whatever the case, it’s adorable to see Barker taking care of his wife, who is expecting.
