Lindsay Lohan Returns In The First Look At Netflix’s Christmas Rom-Com
Lindsay Lohan is making a comeback with a Netflix romantic comedy:
Lindsay Lohan is making a comeback with a Netflix romantic comedy, which will most certainly be available in time for Christmas next year. Netflix released a first look image of the untitled Christmas film, in which Lohan will co-star alongside Chord Overstreet (Glee). In it, Lohan will play a “newly engaged, privileged hotel heiress” who loses her memory in a skiing accident and, in traditional rom-com form, ends up in the care of Overstreet’s “handsome, blue-collar lodge owner” and his “precocious” daughter. The project is now under production and will be available on Netflix in 2022. Down below is the first look at Lindsay Lohan, shared by Netflix on their Twitter handle:

The Movie Will Be Directed by Janeen Damian:
The unnamed rom-com is directed by Janeen Damian, who previously directed Hallmark films such as A Christmas Waltz, and written by Damian, Michael Damian, Jeff Bonnett, and Ron Oliver. George Young (Malignant), Jack Wagner (The Bold and the Beautiful), Sean Dillingham (Yellowstone), and Olivia Perez round out the cast (In The Heights). The film, which was originally scheduled to premiere on Netflix in May 2021, is now under production in Salt Lake City, Utah. Other rumors indicate that the film’s working title is Christmas in Wonderland, but Netflix has not confirmed this. The film will be another addition to Netflix’s burgeoning Christmas Extended Universe. Though the unnamed Lohan movie isn’t the first romantic comedy to depict an amnesiac heiress (Overboard), it is Lohan’s formal comeback to the cinema after appearing in film and television on an irregular basis in recent years. Lindsay Lohan’s Beach Club, a 2019 MTV reality series, is one of her most recent efforts. She is best known as a child star in films such as “Parent Trap.” In 2022, Netflix will release Lohan’s untitled Christmas romantic comedy.
