Lisa Marie Presley’s Twins Refuse to Return Home After Mother’s Sudden Demise Amidst Custody Battle With Biological Father
Lisa Marie Presley’s twin daughters, who are still in shock over their mother’s sudden death, are now subjected to a three-way legal custody battle. According to TMZ, doctors performed CPR on the 54-year-old singer on January 12 after she was rushed to the hospital. She is the daughter of the late Elvis Presley and Priscilla Presley. However, she passed away in her California home after suffering a sudden cardiac attack. Now, her twin daughters are refusing to go back to the house where their late mother passed away, according to latest reports. The untimely death of their mother at her Calabasas house in Los Angeles has left Finley and Harper, “devastated beyond words.”
According to sources close to the family, the 14 years old twins have spent a lot of time at Priscilla Presley’s house in Los Angeles since Lisa Presley passed away. Their older sister, Riley Keough was also present and everyone depended on one another for support. Reportedly, the girl’s father, Michael Lockwood, has also played a key role in ensuring that their needs are met during such a terrible time.
Late Lisa Marie Presley’s kids won’t come back home
Benjamin Keough, Lisa Marie Presley’s only son, committed suicide in the year 2020. After this, less than a year later, Lisa Marie sold the house where it happened. Simply put, it had caused too much trauma for her and her family. And now her daughters are refusing to step foot into her house as well. According to reports, Presley’s housekeeper found her having a cardiac arrest on Thursday morning, just as her ex-husband Danny Keough, who was living with her, arrived home after dropping the twins off at school.
Keough started performing CPR on her right away, and the paramedics were able to check her pulse prior to transport. Presley, however, passed away at the hospital later. The results of a toxicology report are awaited by the L.A. County Medical Examiner’s Office before a formal cause of death can be determined.

After three unsuccessful marriages, Lisa Marie Presley thought she had finally found the one in Michael Lockwood. But their relationship was tainted by a tense breakup and then a drawn-out divorce. Lisa Marie Presley, the only child of Elvis Presley and Priscilla Presley, announced her relationship with Lockwood to the public in 2005. After a decade of marriage, it was reportedly confirmed that Presley filed for divorce from Lockwood in June 2016. In early 2017, word spread that Priscilla Presley was taking care of Harper and Finley as the couple engaged in a protracted legal battle over money and their twins. While Lockwood got officially married to Stephanie Hobgood in October 2022, the custody battle was still ongoing.
She shared custody of her kids with her fourth husband, Michael Lockwood. and now that she tragically passed away, he is expected to appear in court to ask for full custody. According to a family source, “It’ll be a cold day in hell before he gives up those children.” However, other family members told TMZ that Presley’s ex-husband, Danny Keough is in a look to file a lawsuit for the custody of the twins.
