Lizzie McGuire Cast – Then and Now! 20 Years of McGuire Madness!
Last week on 12th January of 2021, one of the most famous Disney shows to ever exist – Lizzie McGuire turned 20. It’s been two whole decades since the show was first aired in our televisions. You all feeling old yet?
And although we almost got a reboot of Lizzie McGuire, with Hilary Duff back at the helm along with most of the original cast; the show was unfortunately scrapped after some disagreements between the show runners and Disney.
But coming back to celebrate this important milestone of this show, we decided to see how these actors look now, after 20 years.

Hilary Duff as Lizzie McGuire:
Hilary is admittedly the most active cast member from Lizzie McGuire. Since the series, she released multiple albums and appeared in several movies and shows. She also starred as Kelsey Peters on Younger and is currently working on the series spinoff. She was also working closely with producers on the Disney+ reboot of Lizzie McGuire, before it got cancelled.

Jake Thomas as Matt McGuire:
After the series, Jake continued acting as well as dipping his toes into screenwriting, directing, and photography. His photography portfolio includes some very notable names like the YouTubers Merrell twins and Jay Versace. He’s also appeared in series like Storytellers, S.W.A.T., NCIS, Criminal Minds, and The Secret Life of an American Teenager.

Adam Lamberg as David “Gordo” Gordon:
After the series ended Adam stepped out of the spotlight. He’s appeared in a few independent movies before going to college at UC Berkeley. He also got his MBA from Baruch College. He also worked at the Irish Arts Center before it was reported that he would be returning for the reboot.

Vergara-Paras as Miranda Sanchez:
Lalaine was pretty active since her Disney Channel days. After the series wrapped, she played bass for Vanity Theft, created some of her own music, and continued acting in movies like Easy A and Definition Please.

Robert Carradine as Sam McGuire:
Before Lizzie McGuire, Carradine starred in the ’80s movie Revenge of the Nerds and in 2013, with costar Curtis Armstrong, he hosted King of the Nerds on TBS. Later he also appeared in an episode of Celebrity Wife Swap along with NFL Hall of Famer Terrell Owens. Robert, along with most of the original cast was set to reprise his role as Sam in the Lizzie McGuire reboot.

Hallie Todd as Jo McGuire:
Hallie along with acting, began writing as well as producing since the series. She usually works with her husband Glenn Withrow and daughter Ivy. Recently, Halle starred in the movie The Last Champion, which she cowrote and coproduced alongside her family. Todd was also set to return for the Lizzie McGuire reboot.

Clayton Snyder as Ethan Craft:
After the end of Lizzie McGuire, Clayton has been in the acting scene on and off. Since then he’s appeared in shows like New Dogs, Old Tricks; Super Single: Mondays; and Edgar Allan Poe’s Murder Mystery Dinner Party, as well as several short films. In 2019, he also starred in a live musical comedy show called The Root Beer Bandits.

Ashlie Brillault as Kate Sanders:
Ashlie took a step back from the limelight after the series and Is currently working as a criminal defense attorney. And although she wasn’t confirmed to return for the Disney+ reboot, however, she was present for the virtual table read the cast did in 2020.

Davida Williams as Claire Miller:
Davida continued acting after the series and has since appeared in shows like Casual, Baby Daddy, As the World Turns, Foursome, and Stuck in the Middle. Her short movie Retreat was released on Hulu in 2020 and another called We Won’t Forget that is set to debut soon.

Carly Schroeder as Melina Bianco:
Carly acted in shows like Ghost Whisperer, Law & Order: SVU, and Cold Case after the series ended until recently. But in 2019, she quit acting and joined the US military.

Kyle Downes as Larry Tudgeman:
Downes continued acting along with producing and directing since the Disney series. He also wrote and directed the movie Proxy Kill and has directed several other short films, like Fairar Days: The Arm Job, 10/10, The Contract, and The Interrogation.

Christian Copelin as Lanny Onasis:
Christian Copelin did some other acting projects around the same time as Lizzie McGuire; but since then he has left the lime light as is currently working for a real estate company in California.
