‘Loki’ Star Jack Veal Gives Hugely Optimistic Update on His Homelessness and Abuse Situation After Plea Goes Viral Online

Jack Veal finally has a positive update on his situation after the video about his dire situation went viral. He made his professional acting debut in the 2017 TV series, Tin Star, in which he starred as Simon Brown. It has been 7 years since then and he has starred in several projects, but that did nothing to better his situation.
At the mere age of 17, Veal certainly has a good-looking portfolio. However, his living conditions have apparently deteriorated to the point that he has to seek the help of social services just to stay off the streets. This is especially saddening since he is a talented artist, and is probably unable to work up to his potential due to his distress.
Loki Star Jack Veal Has a Positive Update for Fans
Jack Veal made his feature film debut in 2017’s My Name is Lenny, in which he starred as the younger version of the titular character Lenny. The next year, he starred in two projects, the BBC series Call the Midwife and the Emma Stone movie The Favorite.
The turning point in his career did not come until 2021 when he starred as Kid Loki in the popular Disney+ series, Loki. The role earned him a lot of fame. Unfortunately, even that seems to have not worked well enough in his favor to provide him with the proper living conditions. However, soon after he took to social media to post a video about his distress regarding his homelessness, the internet did its thing.
In a recent TikTok video, Veal revealed that social services had reached out to him for an accommodation meeting.
I just got a call from social services saying they want a meeting with me tomorrow to essentially get me into foster care and supporting accommodations. I don’t know what you guys have done but it’s gotten out there and it’s really, really helped me.
He expressed his gratitude to his fans for helping him reach social services and also said that he would keep them updated about his situation although he won’t make any promises. He claimed that this was the first time social services were considering him for accommodation.
Loki Star Jack Veal Claimed That He Was Abused at Home
Not so long before he posted a positive update about his life, Veal took to TikTok to post a video in which he revealed that he was physically and emotionally abused at home. He also stated that he could not go to his grandparents’ house because his grandfather was terminally ill.
I have nowhere else to go, and I need help. Social services refuse to help me, despite what I have told them. I am desperate. I’ve been sleeping in the streets. I am currently sleeping in a trailer that has smashed-in windows, is unsafe, and is two hours away from my work, which means I struggle to get to work every day. It’s difficult.
He requested fans to share his video as much as possible so that people could learn more about how the government treats kids. He had been living on the streets of London for quite some time by the time he posted the video, but hopefully, he will now find accommodation through social services.
