Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen first met through mutual friends on a blind date, and after dating for two years, the couple tied the knot in February 2009. They welcomed their two children and also took care of Brady’s first son with Bridget Moynahan. The couple stayed beside each other for over a decade before going their separate ways in October 2022. They filed for divorce months after the sports star canceled his retirement.
Even after their split, the couple is reportedly on good terms, and Brady even consulted with his ex-wife in deciding on his retirement. The sports star reflected on the meaning of love on the occasion of Valentine’s day.
Tom Brady’s First Valentine’s Day After Divorce
Tom Brady celebrated his first Valentine’s Day after his split from the Brazilian model Gisele Bündchen. The sports star reflected on the meaning of love as he shared a quote on his Instagram stories. The quote by popular yogi and mystic, Sadhguru, said, “Love is not a transaction; it is a certain exuberance and sweetness of your emotion.”
He also shared images of his children in the following Instagram stories. He quoted his 10-year-old daughter’s image saying “The Sweetest,” followed by an image of his 13-year-old son, Benjamin, adding “True Love” as the caption for his image.
Brady also shared snaps of his elder son with ex Bridget Moynahan, 15-year-old John Edward, adding red hearts in one and wishing a Happy Valentine’s Day with his second image. The father of three has earlier said that he will be focusing on his family after his retirement.
Earlier, Brady shared images with his kids during Christmas after Gisele Bündchen decided to spend the festive season with her family in Brazil. They have agreed on joint custody of their kids.
Tom Brady Breaks Silence on His Viral Picture
After announcing his retirement earlier this month, Tom Brady decided to surprise his fans with an Instagram post. He shared an image to promote his brand, Brady Brand on his Instagram. Fans were surprised to see the star player as he posed in Brady Brand underwear.
The star player talked about the image as he joined Jim Gray and Larry Fitzgerald on the Let’s Go podcast. He said that he would not be sharing too many of those images and suggested everyone shop from Brady Brand this Valentine’s Day.
“It’s Valentine’s Day go buy some Brady brand.com Get your favorite underwear. They’re actually amazing,” Brady said. He also explained that the only intention behind sharing the image was to promote the brand and he did not mean anything else by sharing the picture.
