Madame Web: Emma Roberts Is The Latest Cast Addition
There is one more major addition to Sony’s upcoming Spider-Man spinoff movie, Madame Web has finally found an a–new cast member for American Horror Story and Scream 4 and star Emma Roberts.
As per a report by Deadline, Emma Roberts has joined the expanding cast of Madame Web in an unknown role, as of now.
Emma Roberts Will be Joined By Dakota Johnson
Roberts will be joining the lead actor of the film, Dakota Johnson, as the two had been co-stars earlier at Sydney Sweeney, Isabela Merced, Celeste O’Connor, and Tahar Rahim. Sony hasn’t issued a comment about Emma Roberts’ casting at the time of this writing.
Roberts Began Her Career At A Very Early Age
Emma Roberts started her career as a child actor in Blow (2001). She quickly rose to fame thanks to Addie Singer, her lead role on the Nickelodeon sitcom Unfabulous, which ran for three years – from 2004 to 2007. Around some time and right afterward, she starred in various other films, including the eponymous protagonist of the Nancy Drew movie (2007).
Roberts Will Be Seen In More Projects Soon
In 2011, Roberts portrayed the main antagonist Jill Roberts in director Wes Craven’s satirical slasher sequel Scream 4. This led to her being cast as main character Chanel Oberlin on Fox’s similarly-toned horror-comedy series Scream Queens, which premiered in 2015. Roberts has also been a fixture of the FX anthology series American Horror Story since 2013.
