The story follows a dysfunctional working-class family and their challenges with finding their place in society.
The sitcom was received very well amongst the critics as well as the audience and was soon named one of the greatest TV sitcoms of all time. It was not filmed in front of a live audience and did not feature any laugh track, and it reportedly has served as an inspiration for MCU’s WandaVision. This is an exciting update for fans who adored the sitcom.
Frankie Muniz, Bryan Cranston, and Jane Kaczmarek return for the Malcolm in the Middle revival
According to reports by Deadline, actors Frankie Muniz, Bryan Cranston, and Jane Kaczmarek, who were a part of Fox’s sitcom Malcolm in the Middle, are returning for the revival for its 25th anniversary. The actors played the characters of Malcolm, Hal, and Lois, respectively, on the show.
The four-episode revival will premiere on Disney+ with creator Linwood Boomer, who will write the episodes. It has been reported that the trio will be the center of the revival show, which will see Malcolm and his daughter draw back into the family’s chaos after Hal and Lois demand his presence on their 40th wedding anniversary.

The trio shared a video on their social media confirming their return to the chaotic family. Muniz wrote that he had been waiting for this moment for 18 years, and now it’s time for everyone to know what Malcolm and his family have been up to. Ken Kwapis will direct the episodes.
Bryan Cranston does not forget to check up on Frankie Muniz
Actor Frankie Muniz appeared on Michael Rosenbaum’s Inside of You podcast, where he revealed that even though their show initially ended over two decades ago, Bryan Cranston checks up on him regularly. Muniz said,
The actor noted that the Breaking Bad actor took the opportunity that was handed to him and just worked his best. He also added that he always wants people to speak about him the way he speaks about Bryan Cranston. Muniz mentioned that whenever he’s given an opportunity, he commits himself to it fully and tries to make everyone around him have fun.
Frankie Muniz, who played Cranston’s son on Malcolm in the Middle, shared with the host that not only was Cranston his father on the show, but he also became a father figure to him outside of work. He shared,
