A rare piece of footage from 2009 shows that 12-year-old Hailey Baldwin’s father, Stephen Baldwin, seemingly introduced the aspiring model and singer at a Today event.
Hailey met her now husband Justin Bieber when he was 15 years old, and according to Vogue, the model was not interested in him. She said,
I was never a superfan of him or anyone. I didn’t think about it in any way, except for the fact that he was cute. Everybody had a crush on him. But for the first few years, we had a weird age gap.
However, the two of them were later spotted in 2011 at the New York premiere of his documentary Never Say Never, and at the time, Baldwin was Team Jelena (Justine Bieber and Selena Gomez). But in 2014, the two of them attended Hillsong Church in New York together and were later spotted hanging out with Kendall Jenner.
In 2016, during his interview with GQ, Bieber was asked about his status with the model, to which he said,

After a brief separation in 2017, the IT couple was spotted together at a conference hosted by Pastor Rich Wilkerson Jr. of Vous Church in Miami in 2018, which was followed by their getting engaged in 2018. By November 2018, it was reported that the two of them had tied the knot in a New York City courthouse. In September 2019, the two hosted their wedding ceremony at the Montage Palmetto Bluff in South Carolina.
