Anthony Mackie is one of the most well-known actors in Hollywood. From winning the Independent Spirit Award for Best Actor for starring in the LGBT drama Brother to Brother to portraying Sam Wilson aka Falcon in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, he has had a praiseworthy journey in establishing his name in show business.

Anthony Mackie gained worldwide recognition for playing the superhero Falcon in MCU’s 2014 movie Captain America: The Winter Soldier. Since then, he has reprised that role in quite a few MCU projects including the Avengers subfranchisee. This led to his friendships with other Marvel stars such as Paul Rudd, Chris Evans, Chris Pratt, and nearly everyone else. He once even revealed a strange ability that Chris Evans and Paul Rudd have.

Co-stars often become friends while working on the same project and given that the Avengers stars have worked together in a franchise for years, it makes complete sense that they have developed camaraderie. Anthony Mackie once gave the details of the fantasy football league he plays with other Avengers stars.

In early 2021, during an interview on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Mackie revealed that Chris Pratt had won the season of fantasy football at the time and that he himself held the second-last position. He then went on to say that Chris Evans and Paul Rudd are the biggest trash-talkers of the game.

While talking to the host Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight ShowAnthony Mackie said:

“It’s a split. I mean Chris Evans talks a lot of trash. Paul Rudd talks intellectual trash, which is confusing because you don’t know if he’s insulting you, but you feel like it’s a diss somewhere in there. So he’s the guy you want to fight. You know, you can talk back to Chris, but Paul it’s like nah.”

The Million Dollar Baby star also said that he would have to look up some of the words that Ant-Man star Paul Rudd used to insult. That’s a quite bizarre and yet interesting ability to possess.

The fan-favorite scene in Avengers: Endgame in which Robert Downey Jr.’s Iron Man/Tony Stark and Paul Rudd’s Ant-Man/Scott Lang agree that Chris Evans’ Captain America has “America’s a**” led to a competition between Anthony Mackie and Chris Evans as Paul Bettany believed that Falcon actor deserves the title.

In an interview with KFC Radio, Paul Bettany recounted how Mackie and Evans had a squat-jumping competition on the set of Avengers: Endgame to find out who actually had the best backside. Bettany said:

“Mackie went, ‘I’m gonna beat you! What are you talking about?’ I went to Chris, ‘Dude, he’s gonna beat you. Look at the size of his a**! He’s got more muscle in his a** cheeks than I have in my entire body, he’s gonna beat you.”

The Outside The Wire actor lost the competition to Chris Evans but won the role of Captain America following the latter actor’s departure from the MCU.
