MCU Can’t Even Name Its Disney Show Anymore Without Blunders, Gets Shamed For the Ongoing Drama For WandaVision Spin-off
With what’s going on with the spinoff on Agatha Harkness from the hit series WandaVision, Marvel Studios seems to be in a bit of a creative slump. The show was announced as early as 2021, and there have been a lot of fluctuations in its key details, from release date to its name.
These changes in the much-anticipated show have fans questioning the choices made for the franchise. And now with the recent announcement from Marvel Studios about the release dates of a bunch of projects, including the WandaVision spinoff, also revealed the third time changed name of the show. The drama around this long-awaited show has led to widespread confusion and shaming.
Marvel Changes the WandaVision Spin-Off Name Again
What started as Agatha: House of Harkness, then became Agatha: Coven of Chaos, and is now Agatha: Darkhold Diaries has fans scratching their heads.
On Friday evening, with a number of release dates for the latest Disney+ projects, Marvel Studios announced the new title for the Agatha Harkness spin-off. The second title seemed apt for the series centered around the disgraced witch played by Kathryn Hahn.
It is repulsively intriguing, that how does the show has so much trouble deciding what it is. But a source from the studios has told Variety:
that the changing titles are less a sign of indecision on Marvel’s part and more a suggestion that Agatha is up to her old skulduggery.
Blaming the inherent traits of the fictional character and using it is an excuse to cover up the faults of indecision or come up with what will do well with marketing, not a very good move, for Marvel.

Fans Are Not Pleased With the WandaVision Tumultuousness
This particular turn of events has happened thrice now and fans are not thrilled. The initial announcement of the show had fans under the impression that it would center around Wanda Maximoff played by Elizabeth Olsen. It has since come a long way with Agatha as the primary focus. But it has certainly agitated fans throughout with the trivial changes.
X (formerly Twitter) is filled with hilarious to noteworthy fan reactions. The tweet from PopCrave (@PopCrave) pointing out the three name changes has replies that show just how tired and fed up fans are:
Finally they’ll announce it was just “Agatha” all along.
