MCU: Real-Life Friendships Of Marvel Heroes Stronger Than Vibranium
It is often assumed that most actors are usually competitors than friends in Hollywood. However, this isn’t always the case as even celebrities are humans who, like all of us, crave friendship. Performers do understand exactly how important it is to have some insider connections in Hollywood. Most of these companions do assist one another win jobs, and also protect each other against paparazzi and gossip mags, sometimes even each other’s gowns on the red carpet. All of us love MCU films for many reasons, however, it’s a bonus when an interaction between two characters onscreen goes on to transfer to friendship even off-screen.
Today, we present to you Marvel heroes that are as good as friends in reality as they are on the silver screen.
Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson
Tessa Thompson and Chris Hemsworth became friends really quick on the set of Ragnarok and the duo later reunited for MIB: International. The two also appear to be quite receptive towards partnerships in the future. “I sort of love that iconic Hollywood thing of pairing two actors throughout their career, and they get to do all sorts of things together,” Tessa told Refinery 29. “I think of it like that with Chris and me. I hope that we get to make many more things together”. The duo has also admitted sneaking kisses into most of their MCU moments.”
Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan
Sebastian Stan and Anthony Mackie developed a bond while portraying supporting characters in the last two Captain America movies. Their bond became so endearing that Marvel decided to give them their own series. Mackie and Stan are actual living proof that opposites do attract, whether the two are involved in a friendly mockery or showing their appreciation for one another.
Tom Holland and Robert Downey Jr.
This isn’t a secret – the real-life friendship of Robert Downey Jr. and Tom Holland does resemble the major connection between their two major protagonists. Tom Holland was also one of the cast members in RDJ’s film Dolittle, giving his voice. Tom has also admitted to “shamelessly stealing” RDJ’s style. Well, is it even fair to blame him?

Before they shot Eternals, Gemma Chan and Richard Madden had known each other for about ten long years, which the two feel allowed them to perfectly recreate the bond between Ikarus and Sersi – the roles they play.
