Michael Fassbender Narrowly Escapes Marvel Star Jeremy Renner’s Fate After Crashing His Porsche 911 in Le Mans Race
This year has already seen two celebrity accidents with Michael Fassbender’s recent Le Man’s race crash. Earlier in the year Avengers star Jeremy Renner also got into a snow plow accident that broke around 30 bones. As for Fassbender, he was reportedly uninjured after crashing his Porsche 911.
This was his second time at the French race competition as a part of the German Proton team, which celebrated its 100th anniversary this year. Fortunately, the X-Men star did not receive any serious blow as was in the case of Renner. Nonetheless, the incident could have been the same as the Avengers star’s or worse.
Michael Fassbender Narrowly Escapes Jeremy Renner’s Snow Plow Accident Fate
A day ago on the 11th of June, Hollywood star Michael Fassbender got into an accident at this year’s French Le Man’s race. Around the point when he had only 15 minutes left in his 6-hour driving slot, Fassbender crashed into a barricade with his Porsche 911.
Fortunately, the X-Men star did not sustain any injuries and was in a condition good enough to bring back the car to the pits. This had been Fassbender’s second time at the Le Man’s race which celebrated its 100th anniversary this year.
And just like the last time, he raced for Germany’s Proton Competition team. He has participated in various other racing competitions and seems to be having fun at it. Talking with Top Gear, the actor said,
“I’m never going to be a professional racing driver, but I’m super passionate about it”
Some of his wins include the Portimão competition where he came second back in 2021 and a year after taking third place at La Castellet.
The recent incident at the Le Man’s was the second time a major Hollywood celebrity got into a vehicle-related accident this year so far. The other one was the fatal snow plow accident which left Jeremy Renner with heavy injuries. The Avengers actor has recovered since.
A Brief Look At Jeremy Renner’s Snow Plow Accident
At the start of this year, Jeremy Renner had been out in his sno-cat (snow plow vehicle) with his nephew trying to help a family with their pickup truck lodged in the snow. However, after running back towards his vehicle, Renner failed to get into the vehicle and instead got into its path.
He suffered a blunt chest trauma and was reported to have broken around 30 of his bones. The accident was undoubtedly a serious one and could have taken his life. But the actor remained motivated despite the heavy injuries and has since recovered enough to move around.
