One of the most well-known YouTubers in the world is Jimmy Donaldson, best known by his stage name MrBeast. His YouTube channel is the second most subscribed with over 160 million users. However, it appears even being a philanthropist and having the second-highest number of subscribers on YouTube didn’t help this time. In his most recent high-budget video, MrBeast made a startling loss of $2,830,000.

Budgeted at $3 million, the video was named Train Vs Giant Pit. Several explosive experiments are shown in the video, such as detonating 100,000 fireworks inside a house and smashing a train head-on into a huge hole. Over 85 million people have watched the video since it was posted six days ago. The first week’s ad revenue was barely $167,000, though. Accordingly, MrBeast suffered a loss of around $2.8 million on the video.

Nobody would have expected this figure. Who would have imagined the second-most subscribed YouTuber could experience such a significant financial loss?
